Today I called CIC and luckily able to speak to agent, My application is still under eligibility review and BGC hadn't started yet.
AOR : 24 April'18
Visa office : ottawa
Medical passed : 1 May 2018

any thoughts on average time after eligibility checked.

Spoke to agent today and was told that BGC hasnt started yet, they are doing eligibility review,

Is it good sign? Do i take it as progress towards BGC?

Hi Neha, I can say one thing that you file is moving at least which is a good sign. If this gets cleared you have a good prospect. I would say this where they check what all point points you are claiming and compare & cross check even it to the docs you have submitted. It’s hard to predict by when this will be completed though

Some element of BGC “may” have already started since the time you submitted your application.

I am single applicant too and will reach 60 days milestone today. Still at IP1. Lets hope some magic happen this week.

Yes i hope it moves faster and get ppr because i m under stress each day, immigration is not my favorite thing to talk about but what can we do

Hey Harsh, In general, they don't do any maintenance during business hours.
Try clearing your cache and login again, it should work. I am able to login right now.

I applied for my paper-based PR based on NSPNP when I was in India, and received AOR on April 14, 2018. I then came to Canada on May 1st.
Now, am not sure whether our PR application would be processed VO in India or VO here in Canada?
I keep checking the eCAS however, that is showing Medicals received as the last update.
Any thoughts?

If u call IRCC, they know where your VO is otherwise u need to order notes
