Hi all,
First post here. I am just beginning to fill my express entry profile. But im confused about continuous work experience requirement. Here is my work history:
Job1. 1 year. Noc A
Gap for MBA
Job 2. 1 year. Noc B
job 3. 9 months. Noc A
Gap 4 months unemployed
Job5. 4 months. Noc A
job 6. 2 months noc C
job7. 2 years noc C

Im planning to declare noc c as my primary noc and ive continuous 2 years experience in it and its my current job. But im worried about noc A cuz jobs# 3 and 5 are less than one year. And i want to show all the above mentioned experience cuz then my total experience will be 5 years. Please guys help. Will they calculate jobs 3 and 5 in my experience or shall i remove them?

This is confusing, if by stating NOC C you mean skill type "C" then such work experience is not considered "skilled" and thus can't be counted as valid work experience.

No no i just meant to show i have work experience under 3 different NOCs. Consider them noc 1, 2 and 3.

Then sure, you can use such NOC as your primary one and then add all other skilled work experience under other NOC's to claim the maximum points for work experience.

That being said if this is all foreign work experience then be aware that it maxes out at 3 years of work experience.

This is all foreign. So you mean to say that beyond 3 years there is no additional points?

Thank you so Much
So you think if i have a year of continuous work experience in noc A and then 9 months of more experience in the same noc after some gap they will count it as 1 year and 9 months? Especially when ive continuous 2 years experience in noc c which is my primary. What i mean to ask simply is does the 1 year continuous experience rule applies to all NOCs or your primary NOC only?

Only primary NOC for eligibility purposes.
Ah awesome thank you so much.
One last thing. There is a 2 week gap between my last job and current job. The last job was only 2 months but i need to count it to show full 2 years experience in primary noc. Will the 2 week gap matter?

Doesn't matter.
So i will only show 3 years of experience in my profile of companies who's documentation i can easily obtain. What do i do with the rest of my work exp? Put it in personal history? And if i do then shouldnt i mention total years of experience as 5?

Correct, the rest you'll have to mention in the personal history section but you won't be required to provide any proof of employment for those employments.

Mentioning 3 years of work experience would be fine.

Hi. I am venturing into asking another question since you seem to be incredibly helpful. So my colleague who used to work in the same company and at thr same position as me got pr. I plan to use the same job reference letter as his since his letter obviously worked and im thinking it shouldn't be a problem cuz job descriptions of 2 employeees working at the same designation can be same. Am i right?

Hi guys,

I have something confusing that I need advise on
A friend is working as Operations and administrative officer in her company and its confusing in choosing the Noc. Administrative officer noc is 1221, can she go with this or need to get something that goes with operations as well.

Please a quick response will be appreciated because she need to conclude her form now and submit to get in the pool for tomorrow's draw.
