Hi all,

Waiting for my PPR now and of course monitoring employment in Canada in the meanwhile.
I'm currently working at a global company which also has office in Montreal, Quebec, and there's an opportunity to get invited for work there. However, as you may know, Quebec doesn't take part in the Express Entry so my target province is Alberta.
Here's my question. Is it possible to land in Alberta and then move to Quebec as a permanent resident or there are some restrictions for movement between provinces? Do I have to live in my target province for any stated amount of time?

Thanks in advance!

If you are landing as FWSP PR, then you can move to Montreal after landing. There is no problem in that.

Thanks a lot, Mr.Preetsingh. When I've started my EE profile in GcKey there was a question about province I'm planning to land in. And I've chosen Alberta. So now I have to land in Alberta no matter what or I can land in Toronto and then fly to Montreal? I reside in Russia and the cheapest way to fly in Canada is Toronto. Flying in Calgary costs 50% more. Flying from Russia to Calgary and then to Montreal would cost too much while buying a ticket from Toronto to Montreal is not a big deal.
Thanks again, mate.

You can land in Toronto and then move to Montreal. And as i said, if you are applying under FWSP then only you can do such thing.

Case closed, you're the best, sir. Catch my upvotes. Btw, we've submitted our profiles in the same day: April 14th. I wish good luck for both of us. See ya around (in April 2018 AOR thread).
