why sent file to new delhi ..chandigarh vfs is not processing

I applied for myself on 23 may 2018 through offline mode, Chandigarh vfs, Punjab, India.
Confirmation mail received on 23 may.
Your processed passport has been forward from Chandigarh to new delhi vfs office
.. now again ur trackind id in on processed at new delhi ...

Applications can be processed by any visa office depending on the volume of applications that the visa office is experiencing. This is quite normal

I applied on 16th May, online and got approval on 17th May. Submitted passport on 22nd May.....sent by VFS Chandigarh to Delhi. Got stamped passport on 29th May, 2018.

Did you send your passport into Chd or Jalandhar? Did you opt for blue dart courier ?

You must have good travel history that's why you got visa in 1 day. Congrats

Do they update via SMS when passport is ready to be picked ? VFS website only says that your application is sent to New delhi for processing. I submitted Paasport for stamping 2 days back but staus is same on VFS site.

VFS will send an email and SMS to you when the passport is ready pickup. But keep checking status on VFS website

I submitted my passport to Jalandhar on May 25th, I called VFS they said it is at New Delhi and may take some time as the office is really busy. When I submitted the passport they said 10-15 days. Does that include weekends? Some people get their passports very fast! I already waited nearly 6 months for my visa.. I just want my passport back now

Hi everyone
I applied for a tourist visa along with my parents on the 18th of May through an agent. We had a sponsor letter from my mother's cousin in Canada. My father is a retired army officer.. can that be a cause for delayed processing?
VFS tracking says it's being processed in the New Delhi office.. have not linked paper application online.

My Hubby has applied TRV online, all required documents, property assessment, Way more then required bank balance from him as well as myside. He is a Lawyer so attached associate letter,Tax returns, my passport as I am a Canadian but one refusal history when he had applied Visitor Visa after our marriage in 2017. Online status shows process, biometrics done on Dec.13, reason shows for his visit to meet my daughters who he never meet personally. His PR file under process. Now, VAC gave him Receipt after his Biometrics and I tacked blue dart that shows reached to Delhi on December 16th. But I am not sure what they sent to New Delhi? As VAC has scanned his passport,took photo and fingerprints and gave original passport back to him. It's online application, status shows same day that Biometrics done so, what Chandigarh VAC has sent? What will happen next?
