should be good, problem is cancer or tuberculosis
Thanks Yulia. That is very helpful.

I would also like to ask something personally about my situation:

I am currently applying for a Study Permit to Canada (Alberta). Post that I would be interested in the PGWP and eventually PR.
I would like to bring my parents from India as well. My Father is highly diabetic while my Mom doesn't really know English.
Would these be a concern in getting them over permanently?

Also, I found out that for the Super Visa, we need to show that parent will come back to the home country post the Visa Expires. So is there no other option to make my parents Permanent Residents of Canada?

Any help will be highly vauable.

Thanks.

Hi Ruchir..
I linked my account just after getting medical exam request. When I checked 5 days after my parents did medical exam, it showed "Passed the Medical Exam" for Review of Medical Results. I guess it takes 5-10 days normally to update. Check the google spreadsheet for other cases of maximum time taken for review of medical results. If you think that it's been too long then you can send an email inquiry, although I am not sure about the process for that.

Hi Vineninja,
Looks like your case of PGP 2017 is very similar to mine. My parents live in India too and I received the medical on the same date as yours i.e on the 17 May 2018. After months of trying I was able to link the application just today. Their medical was done on the 21st of May and there is no update on the profile. Saw on the spreadsheet that you have already received the 'passed' notification. If you can, please advise whether I should contact the CIC or any other step that I need to take.

Hello, Just a heads up for my mother in law (MIL) application, i just got an email requesting a copy of her husband's death certificate. My father in law passed away in 1998 and the family never registered the death of applied for a death certificate. I don't know how long it will take to get a death certificate given that he passed a way in 1998. Can I write a letter to CIC explaining the situation or is it absolutely necessary for us to get the death certificate.

Based on experience here can someone please advice.

My parents did medical on 8th May and only on 28th May we saw the update "you passed the medical exam". So It can take time, do not worry.

Hi everyone,
We just entered into stage 3, I got approved as a sponsor. We have been doing email correspondence, I got updates only through email which is handy because I check it all the time. My question; is it worth it to register and link my application with my GCKey? It says once I do that, I will not get any response via email, only to the linked account through the website.

Is it worth it? I will not have time to check the website every day and I don't want to miss any requests if there is any. Any thoughts on this? Are there more information available on this website?

Thanks,
BySee
