Thank @BillHyatt, good to see you back. Can you please explain how it has gotten worse? I thought they stopped sending files to LVO from March / April onward. Why is the problem growing and not getting better? I myself am stuck in LVO 7 months post-AOR with not even the faintest sign of progress or even an opened file.

As I have mentioned earlier that unless IRCC spends more resources in Canada House it is not possible to see improvements. It is really difficult for an analyst to review 70-80 files at a time and we have more and more piling up.

IRCC is cutting human resources and this is making things worse by the passing time.

Hi @BillHyatt. Hope your felling better mate. Do you by any chance know how SS works? I ordered CSIS notes last month but was told that my SS is still undergoing and they won't provide the notes until the checks are done. Does that mean I have to wait for CSIS to finish before CBSA start their work on my file? or both parties work in parallel? Im already 7.5 months past AOR and if they decide to send my file to CBSA after CSIS then that will propably take another year

Were these verification done during background checks or before you passed the eligibility? Did they verify your financial statements with your bank or some other institutions?

The bank is the financial institution through which they confirmed my statements. I had passed eligibility at CIO but not at LVO then. I think it was during BG checks ..

Ghost update on 24th April.
I received a reply from VCM last week that my application is still awaiting a final review with the migration officer.
No RPRF request till now.
What could be the current status of my application?seeking advise.

If he got married during this whole pr process, then there is still a chance. Inform CIC straight away. they will start her pr process with your brother's application. If he does not mention and land in Canada, then he will not be able to even apply for spouse sponsorship.
