Expert advice please.

My parents got PCC request today
PCC applied today .county India Punjab

My parents passport will expire in December 2018.passport appointment for renewal on 5 June , 2018
( do not know when will get renewal passport may be within 1 month)


Now I have following 2 concern
1) if my parents PCC will be on current passport ( old) and when IRCC asked for passport for stamping then we will submit the new passport ( renewal passport)

It will effect to case as PCC would have the older passport number.
If we think we could get PCC on renewal passport then not sure when we will get renewal passport in our hand we might cross the IRCC deadline date to submit pcc which is 26 June,2018

2) if we do not get reissue passport before July and IRCC asked for passport stamping in July then we are in problem of passport validity less than 6month , IRCC will not stamp on current passport as it has less than 6 month validity issue.


What should we do in this case please suggest .

new passport will show the old passport number on the last page. So, I don't think that you have to worry about another PCC. Thanks.

I am from first round 2017 and parents here on visitor visa. Parents got their medical done for visitor extension first week of May and then got request to do medicals for permanent residence application on May 19.

I have representative who told us to go for medicals again just to be on safe side, but doctor office not willing to do medicals again as they just did in beginning of May. Doctor office said to upload papers they gave us after doing medical in CIC account online but i dont have cic account and cannot link application because have representative.

Anyone Any suggestion how to link application and what to do for medicals.

1. refuse your representative / who said to do medical again and pay again/
2. you don't need to do one more medical, just use medical from super visa
3. fill out the new repres. form for yourself and send them thru IRCC webform
4. link your aplication

Good Afternoon,

I had exactly same situation, My parents did visitor visa extension medical in Feb and received medical request for PR on May 16th. I emailed CIC(Ottawa Office) and told them the situation, they told me, they will use the results from Feb and we do not have to do medical again.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a death certificate in India, like does it take a day or two?
