So from which email address did this revoke notice come from ? It would be unusual for immigration to revoke anything without stating a reason or a reference to some immigration rule.

share the screenshot, hide all the major info - your name/numbers

On email only written dear sir/madam( no name is mentioned) no particulars are mentioned.
then most probably it's a scam email.

First of all, they won't email you to revoke the visas.
If there was anything like this, they would send a letter.
And if they were to send an email, they would mention your name/file name etc.

I had applied visitor visa for spouse and son, and i had already valid visa. Today got email that ur spouse and son’s visitor visa revoked. Don’t know the reason . Already booked tickets.. what to do?
Please suggest

Login into your online account and check under document status.... if it has been truly revoked then document status should show INVALID....

Also did the email say you need to return the passport with the visa stamp??
Did they tell you to come for an interview??

Do NOT reply to the email you received.

Do not open any email attachments.

Do not provide any personal information, passport details, bank details, etc.

100% fake email. IRCC never addresses the applicant as 'Dear Sir/Madam' in emails.

In short:
Ignore this email

No they didn’t ask for passport or interview

No they didn’t ask for passport or interview
This again confirms it is a phishing email.

To revoke/cancel your visa, IRCC would have given you an opportunity to attend an interview and/or they would have asked for your passport to cancel your visa.

Again, do not reply to that email nor open any attachments

I understand @Bryanna caution but I am not 100% convinced yet that these revocation emails are fake. IRCC do appear to be using the same DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca address on other emails and they do address as "Dear Sir/Madam". Example - https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...se-help-very-very-urgent.562437/#post-6978157

Please let us know if you find out if it was actually revoked.
These emails contradict the pointers published by IRCC to identify scam/phishing emails.

Also, the IRCC NDVO email address from where the visa revocation email was sent is not listed on the IRCC site. The correct/official NDVO email address has a hyphen. While the email address for these revocation emails could appear to be genuine, it is possible that an applicant is directed to a fake site or a commercial site on replying to these emails.

Quite strangely, applicants have been getting these visa revocation emails only from NDVO. Or am I mistaken? Have applicants received similar revocation emails from other global visa offices?

It would be best to either email the *official* email address (published on the IRCC web site) and/or send a CSE to confirm whether or not the visas have been revoked. But, most certainly would not advise hitting the reply button to the revocation email

I think we have seen a revocation email from somewhere in the Middle East as well recently. No idea if that turned out to be a fake or not.
Absolutely agree on not just hitting "Reply". Manually enter the email "to" address. However any thing addressed to <name>@international.gc.ca has to end up somewhere in the Canadian government email system, because of the way that DNS/SMTP works. It can't be diverted to a scammer account.

An "urgent" Case Specific Enquiry is probably the best way to proceed. (put "Urgent" in the subject line).
