My time line in Ecas :

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 20, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 21, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on December 22, 2016.
4. We sent you correspondence on February 11, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. 5. Medical results have been received.

I don't know what can be reason for my delays ?Last week when i called them, they told me security is not initiated yet.

Really worried and frustrated , its too much....can't bear more..
BGIP from feb 27, almost 3 months but security not started yet.

I also have the same status as yours. Went to MP's office on friday, they said we will get a reply from ottawa office in 10 business days that why it is taking so long.

My friend got PPR finally. He was Dec 2015 applicant. The bottle neck is the security check which has a deadline of 18 months according to his MP (just for security check). He got his PPR at his 18th month of security "in progress". In other words, they had to do sth about it so they sent him PPR!

So it could go really nasty if they don't finish the security check soon. I am May 27th applicant and at this point, I don't care anymore. I just don't expect my PPR to be soon at all since last time I asked for info, my security had not even been started!

Medical Dependent: Upfront on Dec 2017
Dependent fee: Fee Jan 2018
Questionaries Request: Feb 14, 2018(question list about marriage details)
Security Started: Feb 18
PPR Req: May 14.
Passport sent: MAy 15.
