Good morning!

I am looking for Police Clearance Certificate for Mauritius.

I stayed in MRU for 190 days. I am currently staying in UAE and here we don't have any Mauritian consulate.
Please let me know where I can get the PCC clearance for country Mauritius.

Yes i managed to get it .. are you inside MRU or into some other country.

Hey, I am outside Mauritus, but I asked my parents to get it for me from the Port Louis, however they are saying it takes 2 months! how long did it take your one>>

That is right it takes some where between 1.5 months to 2 months .. Best of luck

Hello, I went to Quatre Bornes Police to get it. They advice it takes around 8 Weeks!

Thanks for the reply. I did some research and it seems Mauritius PCC is only available to citizens, permanent residents, or work permit holders. If someone traveled on a tourist/business visa, I believe it is not applicable.

Are/were you a resident of Mauritius or a tourist ? Thanks!

For how long were you in Mauritius?

It's for my father who made several business trips to Mauritius in the past 10 years. Cumulatively, all his trips add up close to 6 months. I thought they exceed 6 months, so was preemptively looking at how to get a PCC for him.

He would need a pcc only if he stayed six months or more in a row. He didnt so he doesnt need pcc

So was for my wife- she stayed after the age of 18 in mauritius for holidays and till 2018 cumulative was over 6 months- so we had to apply it. Since we had a relative there we asked to apply on our behalf. Unfortunately their process is annoying
