Not sure. I didnt get a notice of transfer or aor2. I noted there was an additional line in ecas and then a doc request came

Does anyone know how long before you receive AOR2 from mexico?

well in my case, after you receive the notice that files are transfer to Mexico. Mexico will send you a letter between 30 and 45 days after

We also didn't get an official AOR2. We just took it to be the line in ECAS that said "We started processing your application on...". Our application took 8.5 months altogether, no additional docs requested.

Hi all my husband completed his interview today. He said it seemed to go well. He knew everything but one answer they did not take the passports or anything at the interview she just said a decision should be made within a week or 2 is this normal or does this mean we are getting refused

He lives in the Dominican republic he said he did not know my mother's name because her and I do not speak only he knows my father and siblings she said I will give you one more opportunity to answer the question and he said he was sorry but he could not answer the question

Usually they say there at the interview when you are approved but each case is different.

Sounds like they may not have liked his explanation and when that happens you have ro continue to explain it well. To them even if you dont talk, maybe he should still know her name.

My wife is currently in the US waiting for PPR, but we are worried she won't have enough time in her visitor's visa to stay there. We want to know if anyone has an estimate on how long would it take Mexico VO to return the passport after PPR?

We will obviously pay for the fastest courier delivery possible both ways from and to the US.

Ours took 8 business days using the VAC. Not sure about couriers as we didnt have the option to send through a courier. VAC only

This is normal. Mexico is notoriously slow and quiet. We went 8 months with no update!!
