i applied for open work permit online in india
I applied on 18 th march
Got medical pass on 20 th april
And still waiting for passport request or update
Can anyone tell me how long it takes
The current processing time is 9weeks and today 9 weeks are finished.

I can say that they can take it long but i dont know how much long.
BTW why u apply your open work permit in india?
Is it post grad work permit?
Did you complete your studies in canada?

I applied for my wife’s visa
I am a full time international student in canada
At university level
I applied for my wife open work permit as i am able to apply for my wife’s visa

Today i got msg from cic to submit
Proof of communicationa and marriage photos
And i did so
Now how many day can they take for PPR

Now, may be they can give you decision as soon as possible..
Because now they are checking your wife’s file.
I saw some of the files even take 3-4 months

Because it already 2 and half months i submitted application

I submitted the additional document on 29 may and till day there is no responce on that one
It says
Additional document:- the document you provided is been uploaded

Yup,
It was done on 20th april
My medical status changed to :- you have passed medical exam
