Just got an email that file has been transferred to NDVO. Have to wait impatiently for 6 months or so. So unpredictable is IRCC. BCG started a month ago. Have to sit back n unrelaxed until PPR.

Did ECAS change to "Processing" for you? The post-NDVO wait seems so much harder...:(

Yeah. ECAS is "In Process" for almost a month.

Hi
I can see that in my ECAS. Processing started on 16 May. I did not recieve any AOR2 or email form NDVO.

Hi Saranya, how did you find out that NDVO has started processing on 16th May? My file got transferred on 27th April, and we have not received any email from NDVO nor has ECAS/GCKey changed any status.

ECAS last line is "Medical results have been received" and nothing after that (note that GCKey says that the medical test has been passed.).
GCKey simply says that "Background check is being processed. We will inform you blah blah documents required."

Should I be worried?

Thanks,
Beef

Thank you Harry and Saranya. I think I finally understand now: I thought ECAS would change from "In Process" to "Processing" once NDVO received the application. But it looks like that this is not case: "In process" is what it will stay as till DM.

Is anyone else hoping streamlined FEB applicants will start seeing DM/PPR by this time next month?

For purely selfish reasons, if it means that January will be done then definitely!!!

However, considering only one report so far on the forums here from JAN, it may still be a while.

When I looked at the spreadsheet there were 2.

Looks like yours is moving fast. :) From my understanding, once background check is processing you're almost at the end! It should hopefully not be so long from here.

And how does one know if their application is selected for this?
I submitted additional docs and passed my medical 2 weeks back. Haven’t heard anything from cic yet ..
my VO is suppose to be London.
You won't really know that it's OB570 unless you order your notes (even then there may be no mention of ob570 specifically), but if you get a message saying your application will be processed by CPC-Mississauga and your visa office would normally be an office outside of Canada, then you've likely been selected for streamlined processing.

What is streamlined processing?
