My location is Brampton and IP since Feb 2.
I was curious about the office where my file is going to be processed (Mississauga/Scarborough) and managed to call CIC today. The agent told me tat my file is still in Syndey awaiting dispatch to Mississauga. Not sure if anyone else in the same scenario.
Looks like the wait for test invite is yet to begin....

Ah, we are in the same boat.. let's hope for the current batch of applications to be processed sooner so that ours reach Mississauga office.

Any ideas how they notify ppl for written exam if my application is handled by a lawyer ?mail or email to me?

If you appointed the lawyer as your representative, it should be sent to them. However, CIC often sends it to the applicant and not the lawyer. (I used to work for an immigration lawyer and this was an ongoing problem.)

We sent you a notice on May 16, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on June 5, 2018............

I have not received any mail yet. thats barely 2 weeks between test invite is that normal? you can update me on notes as well

I have checked my status this morning and saw the same message without receiving any email. test for June 7.

I suggest we add a line on our date of arrival in Canada, our country of adoption.

HI everybody, quick question.

I just checked my ecas by chance, and I saw they have scheduled my exam for June 7th but I did not received any email or mail. it is said "We sent you a notice on May 18, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on June 7".

what should I do now? call them and tell them I have not received any email?
