Hello everyone!

Apologies in advance if this has been discussed before, but having read the general trends on this forum carefully, I am yet to come across a post that answers my query. My status moved from NA2 to IP2 today (where the Background Check field now indicates - "We have started processing your background check. We will contact you if we need further information").

I have not paid the RPRF fee in advance. Is it normal for CIC to begin a background check without requesting the RPRF fee? My timelines are as follows:

AOR: 5 Dec 2017
Meds Passed: 16 Dec 2017
IP1: 16 Dec 2017
NA2: 21 Jan 2018
IP2: 27 Feb 2018
Visa Office: London

Should I expect the RPRF request letter anytime soon or should I contact CIC? Many thanks.

Hi, I am October 10 AOR no RPRF request, I think it is best to order GCMS notes, I am waiting for mine. I went to IP2 on Feb 27 and Additional Documents not required on the same day.

I am in a similar situation:
AOR: 25 Jan 2018
IP2: 27 Feb 2018
Visa Office: London

Not requesting RPRF indicates that LVO probably haven’t started looking at the file yet. I have received GCMS notes dated 18/04/2018 which indicate that no activity happened on my file since it was transferred to LVO.
