OMG, i just checked my CIC account and my pr card application changed to "update", but after i clicked it, it changed back to submitted, do i expect something next week? I landed on april 5th in Edmonton Canada Place. thanks

Same here, landed on Apr 5, Toronto. Status was updated for dependents. Changed to submitted, after I checked their applications. However, there was no "updated" status on my application(primary applicant)..

You should expect it moves to Approved in next week but keep in mind it's a long weekend.

so, guys, I landed on April 1st, no update on the account yet. I called CIC they told me the card has gone into production, do they update 1st or they update the status online after the card is done production?

I landed on the same day as you. Wonder how long will it take from card going into production to card being mailed...

I am not even able to link my application lol, i try everyday.. details as per COPR and Passport, upper cap, lower cap... damn its crazy wait

Based on few recent posts in this forum, this is my theory...when the account gets updated and goes back to submitted...pr card goes to production for printing..it takes around one week...once card gets printed..staus in my cic becomes approved..and at the same time they also mail the card..finally card arrives in 2-5 days based on location...I landed on April 4th, staus chaned to updated on May 16th for few mins..hoping to get approved sometime next week around May 23rd..let see if this really happens......again I may be totally off..but don’t have anything useful to do over the long weekend......

Place of Birth is playing trick... Type exactly the way it is on your COPR. if there is comma use it at the same place. Good luck!

Did a soft landing on 10th February with my Husband and 2 kids. Applied for PR cards on 12th February. We have not received any photo request. We have been checking CIC email and postal mail but have not receive any photo request. We have raised a web form but no response. Our PR cards have still not come out. We intend to call them on Tuesday for status of our PR cards. Please anybody in a similar situation? Please any suggestion on what to do next?

Were you able to link your pr card application to your mycic account? You will be able to track your pr card status there, you can link pr card of all applicants invidually there. If they need new photos, you will see that in your document section. If its approved, your approval section will say the same. Hope this helps and good luck!!!

Yes, they sent me an email last Wednesday requesting the photos. My landing date is March 10th. If they haven't reach you it could be that your pictures are fine.

There are 2 major reasons for the photo rejections, first is photo not as per the specifications and other being photo older than 6 months.

Hi All, during the express entry application, they did requested for some photos from us which provided as specified. However, during PR application, no photo was requested from us. After reading some postings here, it sounds like we should have provided photos at the time of PR card application?
