Hello everyone,
I have few questions please advise about it :

1.) I was international student and now on work permit from India, So for police certificate, Do I need it to get it from India and Canada both

2.) Can I get my medical done before ITA - If yes which documents I need to provide

3) For job letter - I started my Co op in March 2017 till Aug 2017 and same company hired me. Then I got my graduation letter and applied for work permit.I got work permit on 2 nd Nov 2017. I kept working from March 2017 till now in same company. I am known with the fact that Co op Work wont count in my Express entry profile.I have following questions:

1.)When should I start counting my year, from Sep 2017 to Sep 2018 or Nov 2017 to Nov 2018 ?
2.) As mentioned on CIC site we should provide reference letter, NOA etc for the year we are claiming skilled experience . Can I mention in Letter of explanation that I started as Co op in MAR 2017 and later hired With same company and claiming skilled exp from Sep to Sep or Nov to Nov as my permit started accordingly.

As I am still working in same company should I mention full complete year like Sep to sep or I just put start date like Sep 2017

Any Help will be appreciated.

1 - You don't need a Canadian police certificate. You need a PCC from India if you've spent more than 6 months in a row since the age of 18.

2 - Yes. Just tell the clinic you're doing an upfront medical.

3 - Your valid work experience starts from the date you applied for your PGWP. Since you're still working there it'd be from whenever you applied for your PGWP - to present.

I am pretty sure that I've read in another thread that the 6-mo stay in a country musn't be continuous. So if you have spent 6 months in total in another country over the past 10 years, you must get PCC from that country.

I am living in Canada from last 2.5 years continuously. Does that mean I need to get it Canada as well ?

I believe that it is not required for Canada if they don't request it after ITA. Anyway, I remember reading it in the instructions on the CIC website, so you must come around this information when you see your document checklist.

Hi Del,

I have confirmed with CIC and they mentioned that we can start counting an year from the day our work permit issues. i.e Nov 2018

Those customer service idiots are useless. Do your research (this is stated in the IRCC website) and you'll find out that you can start counting your valid work experience from the day you've applied for your PGWP. I have helped dozens of people get their PR by counting their work experience like that.

Thanks Del for helping me. Please advise on below as well :

My company had posted job of the administrative assistant that has job duties , which are exact verbatim from NOC 1241. I am currently doing this job and just came across one thread that exact verbatim can cause doubt on the job.

It can cause doubt if your reference letter is a copy + past of the NOC chosen, as long as that's not the case you'll be fine.

I was hired in the company with some one's reference where job was not listed on Indeed.I am working as Administrative assistant .When my company hires any other administrative assistant they put Job Title as Admin assistant with exactly same job duties as for NOC 1241 on indeed. As positions are filled, job is no longer listed on Indeed.

1) Should I file with exactly same duties as nothing is suspicious OR
2.) Request my HR dept to paraphrase my job duties

I didn't get where you mentioned plus past of NOC chosen- Please advise about it

I meant "copy +paste" - Anyway, I would request them to paraphrase if possible.
