On a side note, does anybody have any links to threads to discuss about landing? I don't intend to join Whatsapp or Telegram groups as of now. Threads on the forum would be helpful, to share some concerns and get some feedback. Do share if you guys come across any.
I see some threads here and there. Where are you planning to land?

As promised, I'm posting here the questions I was asked by the agent when I received a call on May 10th. It was a 22 min call and the whole time he spoke to me in a very relaxed way. I was nervous at first, but later on I felt like I was speaking to a friend.

Here they are:

Education:

Do you have any degree back home?

Which program did you study?

Which college or university did you study at?

What was the duration of the course?

When did that course start and finish?

Did you take any course in Canada?

Which college or university did you study at?

Which program?

When did that course start and finish?

What kind of degree? Diploma or certificate?

Did you take any courses in Canada after graduating this program?

Travel:

When was the last time you entered Canada? (I went back home in December and returned in January)

When did you leave Canada for aforementioned trip?

Did you study or work during the trip?

Did you submit your application before or after the trip (I happened to submit the application the same day I left Canada)

Before going back home, where did you travel to?

Was that trip longer than a week?

Before aforementioned trip, did you travel anywhere else in the past year or 2?

Was that trip longer than a week?

Overall in the past 1-2 years, did you travel anywhere (other than back home) for more than 1 week?

Work (very detailed questions):

Did you work for at least 1 year full time before applying for permanent residency?

What is your stream?

Which company did you work at?

Are you still employed by that company?

What's the company's address?

Has the company always been at that address? (we moved to this location about 1 year ago)

Where was the company located before moving?

Are you employed full time? What are your hours?

Does the company work every day or business days only?

What is your salary? Do you get paid overtime?

What's your company's business? What's the target audience? What kind of product and/or services do you sell?

What's your job title? Have you always had this job title or it changed?

When did you start working for this company?

What are your job duties? Give me an example of something you do on a daily basis. (I provided the example of a dumbass client I spoke to earlier and we both laughed for a while)

At the end he said there wasn't any contradiction on my answers and he was approving my application. I should wait for an email with further instructions. Asked if I had any trips planed for the next 3-4 months. If I did, they would send me a different set of instructions. The end :D

Received an email on May 16th, the confirmation for a landing appointment at the Etobicoke office on May 22nd.

Hello All, can anyone please advise.
this is my time line
EE- Outland
CRS: 444
ITA: Sept 06, 17
AOR: Dec 01, 17
RPRF: Dec 12, 17
RPRF Submitted: Dec 27, 17
MED: Dec 19, 17
IP1: Sometime in December
GCMS Notes ordered: March 23, 18
GCMS Notes received: April 23, 18

As per my GCMS notes, in the primary review (Done December 13th 2017) they determined my privious job needs some verification. To support my previous job I sent my experience letter through CIC email on Jan 9th 2018, and I got conformation email (on Jan 17th) that it has been sent to corresponding department.

My question is, has anyone faced a similar situation?
How long does this verification process take palce?

Thank you.

I share your preference regarding those private app groups; I prefer the public discussion in forum threads, which I feel are more detailed and easier to access.
I found this thread by @RookieMistake to be very helpful. He landed in Toronto but it could still be of use even if you're landing in a difference province.

I'm on the lookout for other threads in the Settlement Issues forum.

Ordered GCMS for second time 2 days ago. First was from getgcms and this time from applygcms. Got an automated email saying their "experts will get in touch shortly and an acknowlegdement email will be sent upon successful verification". Still waiting for a response from thier side. Anyone faced a similar issue? If so how long is the usual waiting time?
I always receive acknowledgement/confirmation on the same day, but then again all my notes were ordered through CAIPS GCM. I'm guessing it depends on their workload or their available resources.

Have not had this issue personally, so I'm not certain about the waiting period. However, it's good that you're being proactive and sending them the info before they even ask for it, as it could save you time. I'm assuming they didn't request it and you sent it based on the notes, right?
