Embassay takes long time.

Hello
I had applied for religious visa on 14 th of March 2018.
And yet it is in process .
Can any one help me how much time that embassay taken to get visa.
It will approx 50 days above but yet the status said it is in process at Delhi canada office.
Pls help me.

It's not possible to guess how long it could take for a decision.

You can send a Case Specific Enquiry/ IRCC web form to the New Delhi visa office to request for an early decision. Here's the link:

Still status will show it is in under process.
I wrote the latter two time to Delhi embassy.
But didn't yet any response from them.
Earlier I had call vfs center .and every time they told that due to pick season you process will be delay.
Now what to do Bryanna?
Can my sponsor do the enquiry directly to new Delhi ?

No, your Canadian host will not receive any response from the visa office. BTW as you applied at VFS Ahmedabad, the Bangalore visa office will process your application, not the New Delhi visa office

But in status will show that your application will be under process at Delhi office.

Then possibly because of high volumes of applications, your app has been transferred to NDVO. Otherwise it is the Bangalore visa office for Ahmedabad apps

Unfortunately, there's nothing else you can do after you send the CSE/ IRCC web form

i applied for open work permit online in india
I applied on 18 th march
Got medical pass on 20 th april
And still waiting for passport request or update

There's a zero possibility that the visa office has misplaced/lost your passport and documents. Every application is processed as per the individual's specifics. This can take several weeks/months in some cases
