My husband and I and 2 kids will like to come to Canada with a student visa. Would it be better for him to apply as a student or me? Just concern on how would be seen by the officer . Witch way will be better? Anyone here on a similar situation?
Thank you

since there are kids involved, its better for you to apply because logically, it won't be sane living kids behind to come to Canada just because of studying, the Visa officer might think vague needing a good reason to convince him that there is no hidden motivates except if your previous academic records are poor then your husband can apply

Don't get me wrong, your husband is also in a pool position to apply too but either way you people are planning of doing it, what matters most is to be able to sell your stories in a convincing way that the VO would be impressed

We are all coming, I looking at the situation in both ways how would it look if I apply or how would it look if he applies. My background is mostly customer service and office work (office administration on heath side is what I'm planing to apply) he has 10 plus year of experience on Heating and cooling but non of us has any diploma or degrees, just hight school . We have no status in the USA and both of our kids are citizens. We have family in Canada and Argentina. Is a long story . Is also a big step to make, very scary. Thank you

Honestly, there is a very big probability that it will be refused. Why not try another visa type as study won't be the best visa type for your family, it will be seen solely as for immigration purpose

You both can apply as a skill worker to work in Canada and that will be through Express Entry which requires working points to qualify

Just read more on the other forums to get more ideas
