I have got Immigration Visa valid till 20th Sep 2018 so I understand that I have to enter Canada before that. I am planning to visit for 10-12 days and permanently move later. Is it possible to leave canada after 20th Sep without PR card since I will not have PR card in 10-12 days and will have to request a friend to receive it. Please help.

Yes that is fine.
In order to get back to Canada, there are basically only 3 options (assuming you don't have a US passport)
1. Get friend that receives your PR card to courier to you
2. Come back to Canada via USA land border
3. Apply for PR Travel Document outside of Canada, in order to fly directly to Canada

You can always try calling the IRCC help centre, although they give out wrong info quite often so who knows what answers you'll get there.
I understand about requirement of PRTD to re-enter Canada after exiting. But I am unsure about whether I be able to exit Canada after expiry of Initial Immigration Visa since visa will be expired and i will not have PR card by then.
There is no immigration check when you exit Canada, so nobody will care what your status in Canada is.

No, if you're already a landed PR then your funds are irrelevant. At a land border POE just passport and COPR is more than enough.
Actually i will be landing first time. Will I need POF and if yes, simple bank statement in Currency of my country will be OK or Do I need to show them equivalent in CAD?
Oh in that case, POF will depend on exactly what stream you are getting PR status with as they are all different. I'm not too familiar with this, so hopefully others can advice.
