I am a graphic designer who has been working both full and part (remotely) time with the same company.

This is the timeline:

June - December 2016 Full time (while living in Malaysia) - 780 hours

January 2017 - May 2018 Part time (remotely) 14 hours a week. (While living in the UK) 900+ hours

Both the jobs had responsibilities which fall under the same NOC. I cant quite figure out if this will be accepted. Any thoughts would be appreciated cheers

I think it will be accepted. Must be same NOC and continuous for at least 1 year. You can't do NOC A for 3 months and then NOC B for 3 months and back to NOC for 9 months... And count NOC A as one year.

Yours is same NOC. It's also continuous. Unless I am missing something. Should be fine. Make sure you explain the fact that it's continuous and same NOC if ever asked.

Thanks,
would you happen to know if I should ask my employer for one reference letter or two split up between the full time on -site and part-time remote work? It's a small design studio with minimal HR shenanigans and I have a great working relationship with the founders so I should be able to request them to put in the exact hours etc.

It doesn't really matter. It's the way the letter will be worded.

An example could be like this

This is to acknowledge that xyz was/has been an employee of ABC from June 2016 to May 2018, serving as a designer. He/she was a full time employee from date 1 to date 2, working 30 hours a week while on a monthly salary of 123. Upon relocation to the UK, he/she continued to hold the same position on a part time basis from period 2-3 while on 456 salary.

His/her her main duties are as follows:
