Is your father married or common-law?
DId you already win a spot in the lottery?

Yes. You have to include your family, yourself + the person you are sponsoring.

Hi Rob! Yes i received an email last month and im gathering all the documents and applications now.im only sponsoring my father though my Mom still there she doesnt want to come here only my dad. We are 4 in the family here. I just want to know if im can only use my income alone without co signer thats why i was trying to understand about the income cut off.

If both of your parents are still alive then you must include both of them in the LICO calculation - even if only your father is coming.

That means you need to show income to cover 6 people. (6 persons $76,015 $75,174 $73,733)

You can include your income and your spouse's income in the LICO calculation.

None of us can tell you that. You'll have to figure that out yourself. Your combined annual incomes over the last three years must meet the minimum income amount. If you have enough income on your own, then your husband does not need to cosign.

I guess i have to use him as a co signer just to be safe. Even if he was under the employment insurance for 9 months last year.

If it's you + spouse + 2 kids + 2 parents, then your family size is 6. You and your spouse's combined income must equal to:
6 persons
2017 $76,015
2016 $75,174
2015 $73,733

You can't count the income your spouse earned while on EI.

Your mother must still be included in your family size, and she must still pass a medical exam, even if she is not immigrating.

Do you meet these income requirements for all 3 years??
