There are so many people here from different offices having this same question. We don't have a concrete answer for this.So there is like 5 applicants from Ottawa in the october thread, that has applied later than my husband, has received DM later than my husband, but had the chance of getting the oath invite before him.
I mean don't get me wrong, there are people who have been waiting more than my husband too. And I understand that background checks can vary and some can take longer...
But how is it that after decision is made, some people get their oath invites quickly, and some just wait forever in the same office (all in Ottawa in this case).
I think there is only 1 center in Mississauga on Glen Erin and that is where I gave the test. I haven't got my oath letter so do not know the location of oath yet ..eCAS status only tells date and time of OATH.Which office in Mississauga you have attended your test and going for oath ?
Attended citizenship ceremony today and was granted citizenship.
Congrats to both of you!Oath ceremony completed yesterday. It was about 2 hr in total. Time to apply for Passport
