You need to apply for a TRV. If that is refused, apply for a TRP.

Curious whether your husband got the fellowship. Pretty common for international physicians to come and do a fellowship in Canada but they usually won't be able to practice in Canada once the fellowship ends. Confused about the choice to pursue a fellowship and PR in Canada while then having to do licensing exams and attempting to get a residency spot and repeat residency.

We got the PR before the fellowship, and yes he got the fellowship but also starts the licensing exam, and he is really talented and unique so I think he will have a chance.

Well I already applied for TRV at 2015 and 2016 and it was refused and the officer noted we have to apply to sponsor our child and so my husband applied for the sponsorship,
Are you currently meeting your RO? I guess your husband can always sponsor you again if necessary.

Its a little complicated, our PR will end at June, and unfortunate we didn't stey enough in Canada to renew it, but Ahmad has appealed not to loose his PR status last time he entered Canada as the immigration officer at Airport give him a deportation order cause he don't have a return ticket and as he don't meet the PR status requirements, and the Appeal accepted, but I don't know what will happen next
Is he liable to renew his PR naw, or what

Find it interesting that he went for the fellowship not knowing whether he would even be able to practice. Will definitely be a long and huge struggle to get back into surgery. My friend graduated from the top plastic surgery program in Canada, had multiple fellowships, awards for excellence in surgery but when she started having wrist problems and could no longer operate the medical system gave her no options and were beyond unhelpful. She was offered to complete another 2 year residency to become a family doctor. Even for the most talented doctors it is extremely difficult to get retained. Most doctors are also unwilling to supervise charts if not part of a formal residency process. She had many friends and family members who are physicians and couldn't find anyone. Just warning you that you must be realistic. If your husband was able to retrain as a GP he would be considered very lucky based on how many applicants they get. Best of luck. Unfortunately many IMGs are unaware of the difficulty before they arrive. She is no longer practicing fyi.

Not sure what you mean by your PR ends in June. When did you land and how many days have you stayed in Canada. If your husband has not me his RO he can't sponsor your child. He will get his PR revoked because of the sponsorship. Was his appeal approved after he provided proof of H&C?

Is that possible that she is confused with PR card expiry which has nothing to do with the actual PR status.

Agreed that if the husband doesn't meet RO, he cannot sponsor his child.
