We (2016 batch) were transferred to Ottawa in Jan 2017, no any e-mail, no med, is that normal? or how many other ppl have the same situation. thanks

Medical and police certificate done: Feb. 2017,
Received Pre-arrival letter in January 2018,
Sent more travel documents requested beginning of Feb. 2018,
And since then no activity, anyone else in the same boat? (CPC Ottawa)

usually it was during 1-2 weeks after pre arrival letter

Yes for us a week after pre-arrival letter, they asked for more travel documents instead

i was reading online...and pre arrival letter usually just means eligibility is passed. It doesn't mean PPR is going to happen soon.
Once pre arrival is sent..your background is then checked. Often bc can just be a few days but it can also be a few week and months.
Hence why some people receive PPR quite soon while others still wait.
So really it depends on how long background check takes..

Hi, i received medical request for my in laws as well and no PCC and landing fee. Is anyone else in the same boat?
Should I post an inquiry asking if PCC or landing fee is also required?

I received medical request for my parents too, but no PCC or landing Fee request yet. I hope this is the start of good things to come.
