I think this is a consistent pattern for USA Applicants. We (Me+Wife+Child) uploaded the FBI PCC upfront. Our timeline is:

AOR - 25th Feb 2018
ADR - 5th March 2018 (Information Release Form)
Med Pass - 7th March
IP1 - 7th March

I just called them they said the Visa office has not been assigned yet

Sorry! "May" was a typo it was "March".

I did ask them but the same standard answer "Your file looks good as of now. No further information is required. We will contact you if we need anything else". I asked them why is there delay in assigning the VO? Answer was "You are still within the stipulated time. So relax! Will let you know if we need anything". It is just waste of time calling them holding the line for 20-30 minutes.

there is no rules for this
i spend hours screening myimmtracker , its random
but i think when you have FBI doc upfront or sent later , it makes it stuck

Nope!not always !!one of my friends got through without any issues with FBI PCC less that 40 days.Its not definite for all people with FBI. Still no idea what the delay logic is though.

Both showed eligibility is "recommend passed" while security and criminality "not started".

The last time for any activity was in the 31st of January, 2018 ...

What does the "Due Date" on GCMS notes signify. Is this a firm deadline before which the visa officer must review the file against a specific stage like security, criminality etc

Both notes showed eligibility is "recommend passed" while security and criminality "not started".

My visa office is Ottawa.
