BOWP - CAN I APPLY FOR IT ONLY AFTER MY APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED?


The deadline for my PR application is sometime in July,
but the thing is my open work permit expires in July as well.

So what I am planning to do at the moment is to submit my application
as early as possible (e.g. by late May or Early June) and apply for BOWP.

But I think I've read an article saying that only those who have their applications APPROVED
can apply for BOWP.

Is this correct?

You can apply for it once you submit your application and get E-AOR.

as per above post, you can apply as soon as you get AOR.
You'll be in implied status until the R10 is passed (this means your PR app is "approved in principle") -- then the new BOWP will be approved.

immediately and some cases it may take up to 5 days I think after you submit your application online!
