Sponser my spouse once i received the invitation

Hi ,

I applied for EE on april 7 & got the invitation under CEC, in between i went to india on my holiday for 20 days & did court marriage in the presence of 2 witness only. Now i do not have much photos to proove my marriage but i do have the marriage certificate & i m in relationship with my wife from last 3 years & i do have the chat history & photos from past which we clicked whn we met but mostly in my phone. I got married in a hurry because i wanted to sponser my wife with my application. Please suggest what could be the possibility for my application to be approved & what else documnets can i submit to proove my marriage. Thanks

You just need to fill a change of information form . You need to inform that u r situation has changed. Provide them with your wife's details,passport data page and marriage certificate. U can call d customer service agents also. It's not a complicated issue

I hv heard from my friends that CIC dememds a lot of photos n proof to proove ur marriage certificate & i have still not submitted my application while have just recieved the invitation. What is information form & from whr i can get this. Which no do i have to call ??

Why don't u submit the application first. And send them a change in status form that u r now married. They will then tell u what form to fill if need be. But u will definitely submit ur marriage certificate.Number to reach cic at is 1 888-242-2100.

You can't do it like that. If the OP is married before submitting the application, it must contain the depenent(s) as well.

Op has an ITA already. His information is locked at this point . No updates allowed except he contacts cic after submission.

Perhaps he should decline the ITA and update his profile, then wait for reselection with the correct CRS score for his new marital status.

that isn't a good advice. Don't decline ITA except u recalculate ut new scores first and would av enough to qualify for a new ITA.

But that's a long process. Since he gotten ITA he can submit and fill a change in status firm later and they will tell him what doc to forward.
Try not to complicate issues...

Well thank u so much for ur revert. I have filled out the web form & uploaded the marriage certificate also but still havenot received any reply. Hv updated the web form last week. Just wanted to clarify one thing that what all documents do i need to submit as have just emailed them about my status & uploaded the certificate only.
