I applied for police certificate for my wife through Afghan embassy in ottawa. They gave me a file number and said it is sent to Kabul. Does anybody know the contact information for Kabul. What happens afterwards. Please let me know thanks.

Good luck we never know how long it takes for each individual. Iam Aug 2016 medical expired still waiting for remedical request and PPR

OMG WHYYY?!?!?! That is absolutely insane!! There is no good reason why this process needs to take this long. At the end of the day, it all comes down to our profile... simply being Afghan. I'm so sick of it.
Yeah dear being afghan couples it takes forever. For other couples it takes only 6 months not fair

I have read that people are going to VFS offices to submit passport... I think VFS is the only accepted method...
Medical exams are only valid for one year, so when it expires the visa office will request for a second one
Yeah i know that..but jus don't know why it take more then12 months and expire medical and need for second one when they said whole prosses probably take 12-14months??
Because they're liars lol They should have just told us the truth... the process takes 12 months EXCEPT for Afghans lol
