Hi guys... I have a CRS of 433 and being 37 years, this is my first n last attempt at PR. I'm obviously a little desperate but don't want to give in to my consultant's idea of filing again and showing I am going single and then trying for husband's work permit later. Please suggest. Can both my husband and I file separate express entry applications so that both can try as primary applicant separately?

yes, you can both file to increase your odds. There is some hope that probably it may come down to 433 this year, not for certain tho.. Any chance you can increase your score by some points by redoing ielts? just 3-6 points may make a lot of difference. Also - there is a hope for Ontario nomination, so make sure you check the pnp in your ee profile.

In my personal opinion it would be misrepresntation if you will create 2 accounts and mention in both that you are married to X person and he or she is not accompanying.
You will be providing the details of non accompanying members neway to the CIC.

as far as i understand, the initial question was for them both to show they are accompanying, simply create 2 profiles, one for each person. And do so to maximize the chances without marking spouse as non-accompanying (as suggested by immigration consultant to increase the points).
Our consultant, too, wanted to leave spouse out, but then we realized that we can actually cover 28 points with spouses ielts and education so marking accompanying spouse will not have negative impact on the crs.

From the first post he/she said they wanted to know of both of them can apply as primary applicant. That would happen only if they mark 1 of them as non accompanying. Then only they will get more point else the point would remain the same in my opinion.

Yeah...you are right. That's what I was saying. I think we can do a little better by trying to improve my husband's ielts score(7.5). OINP may not be a very good idea because I am a teacher and husband is an Engineer (mechanical) and I think my consultant said we are nit in demand in Ontario.

In case I file again...I will withdraw previous application.
Do u also agree with Ranjangaur4 that both spouses can file 2 applications with one each as primary applicant...mentioning an accompanying spouse? Is it legitimate?
