Is IRCC is too strict?

Sorry if this thread is not relevant but I felt like asking this to understand the general perception of this EE process. Do you feel IRCC is just too strict specially with the documents? It just feels like we're providing proofs as if it's a court case.

Not at all, as there are a significant number of applicants from countries and cultures that treat document fraud as a way of life and "doing business". Having said that, there are "bad apples" in every society.

Seeing some of the blatant posts in this forum, perhaps they could be even stricter, with much more serious penalties for misrepresentation. Maybe a lifetime ban under some circumstances?
