Police certificate help

Hello everyone. I'm new here. I've already been invited to apply, submitted all my paperwork and paid my fees. I got a request to send the police certificate, which said had to be from one of two certified providers in my country (Colombia) - I called the provider and they told me they did not hand certificates out to requesters (which I knew was a possibility) but then they also said they A) did not do translations and B) did not directly send it to CIC, but rather they were only authorized to send it to the Canadian embassy here in Colombia, and then the embassy would forward the document to cic.

I wrote the Canadian embassy in Bogota and got a reply saying they indeed received my police certificate and forwarded it. However, on my application website, the links to upload the certificates are still active, and I've written CIC twice asking for confirmation of receipt, yet get no answer what so ever.

I really need assistance with this, because the due date for providing said documents is fast approaching and I do not know what else I can do at this point as I cannot even call CIC from Colombia (I have tried - the call does not go through). I appreciate any advice I can get.

Best,

Al

It might take few days to update.
Keep all communications with Colombian provider and Canadian embassy in Bogota, just in case the PCC still doesn't show, you could write a letter of explanation.

First off thank you Shannon for your response. I knew it could take a few days, but according to the Embassy here, they forwarded the documents on March 2nd, which is what lead me to think something's definitely off - it's been close two months now. I have indeed saved the corresponding communications and in case nothing changes I will indeed write to explain and include said e-mails as you advise.

Hi there,I hope you finally managed to sort the police certificate issue out. Am new on this site and am doing some research prior to my submission of my conjugal application. However,I have a question in regards to the police certificate that maybe you could answer Incase your application is already in play with CIC. 1: Who submits the application...the principal applicant or the sponsor?2: After submission of the application to CIC and payment of all fees, how many months did it take for CIC to request for the police certificate?? I look forward to your quick and kind advice in regards to the aforementioned. Thank you
