Hi, My application is in the assessment stage for OINP. My CRS score is 438 and I am expecting direct ITA in next 2 draws as the latest draw had 441 CRS score. I would like to know if it is better to accept the direct ITA or wait for OINP nomination.

Not sure why lot of people are confused with the tie breaker rule!

A tie breaker is to decide between people stuck or tied on the cut off. So if the cut off was 441, folks above that score are not tied on the cut off so they get an ITA. Simple!
That's what exactly I feel!

Is everyone on here applying through an Agent??
Nope. Applied on my own. Received ITA on March 26 & collecting my docs to submit my profile soon.

Go through all the Listening videos, they are step-by-step guide videos. Tremendously helpful techniques for all types of question. My score never dipped below 8 in Listening after watching them and using same techniques. Let me tell you, not bragging, my concentration wasn't 100% during the tests after watching them videos still scored 8.0 & 8.5 on two occasions respectively. Good luck.

That's great. I always have severe problems in IELTS listening multiple choice section.

Is there any good practice material that you would like to suggest please?

Once you learn the technique, which is in the videos for MCQ, you can use it on any materials that you can find for Listening. Try Cambridge IELTS 7-12. All the best!

next IELTS Result date 4th May n 25th May...with 3 Wednesday so I'd expect the crs to come down drastically in biweekly draw

Hi all,
I haven't created an EE profile as yet. The ECA is done, IELTS is CLB 9 and the CRS tool gives me 396.I am in a regulated profession. Have been following the ROH threads and now believe that the only option left is learning French......or is there any hope for some miraculous PNP even at this score?

I mysteriously received an ITA in yesterday's draw despite having a CRS score of only 431. Could this be an error? Has this ever happened to anyone before? Should I:

1. Submit my application and hope for the best.
OR
2. Call CIC and let them know the error.

Any advice given would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It is not possible. Login and see if your score is 431 or 441? It may be 441 and you wrongly calculated and assumed it is 431. If it is 431, you should call and check with CIC.

Trust that you have calculated CRS score correctly. So that apart, for Ontario PNP, they issue NOI for HCP for only those EE profiles which are 400+ unless you have french skills or got job offer in which case they can issue even if score is less.
For other PNP programs you need to check as when they open if you can apply. See their pages.

PR Card processing timeline is 57 Days and not actual PPR time. I would advise to wait for 2-3 months more and land together instead of applying on Spouse Sponsorship post arrival in Canada which can take 10-14 months more. Choice is yours. Best Wishes.! :)
Thank you..
