I guess they will tell me the standard answer they keep telling as a bunch of parrots "Processing time is 12 months". I tried to call but every time it tells me agents are busy and hang the line automatically. I will try again.

Call them as early as you can. I used to call them at 6am Calgary's time, I never got the message that agents are busy and cant direct your call.

Your processing times are pretty quick. Ottawa I guess? BC is a bit slower.

Try around 8am our time. It worked for me around that time. Hope you get through

Hi, what is FP?
My application is in process since January 10, is it normal? Should I contact my MPP?

FP means Fingerprint Request.
You get this if your name or date of birth hits the RCMP database and they want to ensure its not you.
You probably could see your MP now but i would first try calling the call centre.
