I submitted sponsorship affidavit from my uncle and also told them that I will get better jobs in Ghana but they still rejected me... I am feeling so hopeless. what else should I submit?
reasons: not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident and based on the purpose of your visit. I am not satisfied you have satisfied funds, including income or assets, to carry out your stated purpose in coming to Canada or to maintain yourself.

well, not coming back to canada is a very common reason. almost 99.99% have this in their refusal letter. Regarding the sponsorship, you should show funds from your parents too and if you are working then showing personal funds is always good. If you are applying for Sept intake then I would suggest that you should get a gcms report from www.caipsgcms.com. This report will definitely tell you what the exact refusal reason is as the officer will write detailed notes about the rejection.
Hi. I'm so confused with what I need to do to prove my financial proof for the study permit. The Study Permit information email from UVic says that the tuition fees range from ~$7k to $28k per year. I am going to apply for Study Direct Stream program (SDS) as I'm worry that my family finance is not enough and SDS will process faster. SDS program says that I have to pay upfront 1 year tuition fees. How could I do that if I could not register courses for the whole year. And the tuition fees range are so broad. Thanks

Uncle runs his travel agency and can sponsor my education. We have own house and some land which my parents can show. May be i should wait for the notes to come.
so check with the university how much is the minimum fees to be paid. They usually indicate in the acceptance letter about the minimum fees to be paid.
They indicated the minimum fees per year. But I am not so familiar with the tuition paying process. In general, is it normal to deposit money to the uni upfront? Thank you!!
yes, you have to deposit something. they will tell you that in the acceptance letter. A minimum deposit is like a confirmation that you are going ahead with them and not other colleges and universities.
@Helican I got my GCMS report , and in study permit details it was mentioned in
"Conditions" :- "This permit does not authorize the holder to engage in off campus employment in Canada" Condition Code 52 .
I'm confused , What is it about ?
My course is for 1 year and it's a certificate program - vocational . And my school is a DLI .
You should have got the off campus..not sure if they are thinking that you will be flying a plane in your part-time job

So I guess I am eligible for off campus part time employment ?
Anyways in worst case scenario after landing in Canada should I send my documents for amendment ?

I have an admit for an MEng in Systems Design Engineering from University of Waterloo. However, my Bachelors program was in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Would this be considered a change of field? I chose Systems Design Engineering because it is a unique program at Waterloo which offers a specialization I seek. Though this specialization is available under Electrical Engineering as well at Waterloo but my application was refused for that department.
How should I explain this in my SOP?

Don't worry about this. The biggest challenge is to get the study permit. Once you have it rest can be done after you land. There will be plenty of people to advise you here. Especially your class mates. Inbox me your number. I will add you to a telegram group. Its like whatsapp. Open a acct there so you can be a part of that group. Many students will need your valuable input.
