WRONG, EI is not count ;)

EI is not counted but its considered for purpose of deduction from the total/ gross earned income. That's why the Benefits are mentioned under gross income column.

Also, the moment an applicant/ sponsor mentions that he or she was ENEMPLOYED for a certain time, the IRCC officer will take that as a heads up, if the EI is reported/ mentioned for that time frame, the officer will deduct it out of the total income mentioned on line 105 of NOA.

Perhaps, that's what my understanding is about the mention of 'benefits' in that column. Definitely they are not looking for benefits like medical benefits, Life insurance, or other benefits companies/ employers offer with package.

Assuming you worked for a company XYZ, and assuming family size 5 with gross income 90k, I would fill the form year wise, see the below example:

How about if you have 3 jobs in one year? How are you going to fill up the form? What I did was, one line, one taxation year, one job , one income, family size is all the same for all the line.

Sponsoring my mother. My father passed away and mother doesn't have any dependents.

1) For FORM IMM 0008, would anyone need to be listed as dependents for her? Would my deceased father be added there? I honestly don't think..

2) My deceased father's name was added on question 14 (please also confirm if that's correct)?

Thanks

Hi
I have been selected for this year's PGP sponsorship. However, I don't think I really meet the LICO criteria. Should I still go ahead and apply? Anybody else in this same situation?

Why didn't you check before you filled out the lottery ? Didn't IRCC give you a month to check ?Thanks for stealing a spot away from someone who does qualify.

Answer: No dependents to be listed. Remove all by clicking (-)
2) My deceased father's name was added on question 14 (please also confirm if that's correct)?
Answer: Answer Quesiton-13 : widowed, Quesiton-14 : yes, and fill in details. End date : father date of death.

Do not waste this opportunity send your application. If I had some authority, I would ban people like this for 10 years to participate in lottery again.
