I applied on 28th March for may intake .. you applied two weeks before my application ..

It’s taking hell time I guess that’s because of the number of applications ..
I received an email from CIC stating "There have been no updates to your application since you last checked your account. Thank you for your patience." Did anyone receive it too?
Applied on March 15th from VFS Mumbai. Upfront medicals given along with application. Medicals cleared on April 6th. The status as of now on my application is " we are reviewing your eligibility ." Dont we generally get our visa approved in about a week's time after medicals are cleared?? Also, the Visa processing time on the CIC website has changed from 5 to 6 weeks
Applied on 23rd March for fall 18 from VFS Ahmedabad, file forwarded to VFS Banglore, tracking status shows application is in process.
