hello i will submit my pr application in 2 days since i finally have all the documents. however i collected one of the bank letters in February of this year (almost one month old) will it be an issue? the balance is still the same-do i need to get a newer letter ?

Hi. Are you referring to proof of funds post ITA submission.
I would suggest to get the latest if possible and to follow the instructions given. 6 months balances showed as required.
A letter issued in February is not one month old. Its mid April right now. Try to get a new one. If its really about one month old, then that will work.
