Greetings,
To start off, I'm not really sure if i'm posting in the proper thread, but I thought I needed to post somewhere so I can get an answer. So please forgive me if that is the case. Anyway my question is, will taking a one year CNC Machinist Certificate course qualify me for AINP assuming I get a job after graduating? Here's my situation, my wife has a first degree uncle living in Edmonton Alberta and he is willing to support me financially to come as a student in Canada. The idea is, I study to earn a trade qualification (CNC Machinist in NAIT) so after gEtting the certificate I can apply for AINP and bring my family over. My educational background is I'm a Bachelors Degree Major in Computer Science graduate in the Philippines. I graduated in 2005, unfortunately I did not get to practice my degree because I moved overseas and was forced to work in the health industry as a health care aide for 5 years. Now I will be going back to my country soon and considering this studying deal, but before I do, I want to make sure that this certificate will be enough to qualify me for an AINP nomination. Is there anyone there who might have information regarding this strategy? At the moment after weeks of researching and reading in forums, I've learned that one of the safest way to apply for PR is to get qualification as a skilled trade worker. Any thoughts or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
