So in the IMM 1294 Form for the study permit, in Question 7D they ask for the start date of my immigration status in my country of residence and the end date.

I have a residency permit in Kuwait. I was born in Kuwait and had to renew my residency permit each year.
My current Residency Permit is issued in 2018 and ends in 2019, do I put that date in? Or do I put the date of birth as if they are asking for how long I have been living there, and what do I put in the end date?

Please help as I really need to know as soon as possible.

Regards

I am from Saudi Arabia and i know how confusing this is. I'll help you. First of all tell me what type of residence permit do you have? Are you a worker or a dependent under your parents?

If you are a dependent under your parents
Just chose status as Others and under others write Dependent. You dont need to provide the dates of your residence permit then.
I did the same and got my visa so yeah its the correct way.

Im with my Parents. I was born in Kuwait but since my father is Syrian, I'm also Syrian
That means you are a dependent. Its the same in Saudi Arabia also. I am bengali. I was born in Saudia. Our visa is family visa under our father. So we are "Dependents"
In the application chose status as "others" and then in the others coloum write dependent. The dates are not needed because you will need to send a copy of your residence permit with your application any way.

How do I know for sure that I am dependent? I can't find anything in the residency permit stating my status. It just says Residency Permit and so before I chose other and typed Residency Permit. I assume this is wrong right?

Bro in the arab countries all the rules are same. If you are under your family, your residence permit is a dependent residence permit. It is not written in the ID. Technically you are registered as a student in kuwait and your visa is under your father. That makes you a dependent.

As for what you wrote, residence permit can be of many types. Your fathers one is workers residence permit. Your and your mothers is dependents residency permit.

You dont need to worry bro because i had the same doubt as yours. Even in my ID there is no profession written. I went and asked the visa center that i am a student i was born here, they asked me to write others and Dependent. Kuwait and Saudi system is completely same.
