Marriage before landing

I recently got my landing confirmation for PR.
However, I got married after starting my PR application but before this confirmation. So my marriage status is still single on the confirmation paper.

As my spouse is already a PR, do I have to update my marriage status? Cause I don’t need to sponsor anyone.
I know the best way is to update, but really, I don’t know how long it takes.

Raise a CSE and let them know about this. Since you do not need to sponsor your spouse, there is hardly anything that needs to be done here. Also, when you land, the officer will ask you about the change in family composition, so be truthful there.

Thanks for your reply. I have already send an email to CIC.
As I did not notify CIC when I send my passport to them (that should be the best time, since my application status has not been approved yet), instead I notify them after I got landing confirmation, will this cause a problem?

It's not a problem. When you land, have copies of that email, your marriage certificate and proof of your spouse's PR status.

The PPR email asks to mention the change in family composition. Why didn't you mention this to them at that time? Well now just wait for a response.
