Proof of Funds (Express Entry)

Dear experts,

Can I show my required funds in my salary/current account which is still active but not titled as savings account. Actually I am holding two accounts say A and B and both are salary accounts. My current job salary gets credited into account B which I don't want to show. I sold my property and got the amount deposited into my old salary account A which i will be showing as POF. So the question is that my account A which has the required funds is tilted as current/salary account which I opened few years ago and my present salaries get transferred to my account B. So I am having the sufficient amount in account A but this account is not titled as savings account. Will that be a problem ?? please guide.

Maybe I'm wrong about this but I believe you have to show any and all bank accounts in your name to prove you have no large outstanding debts. So, you have to show both Account A and Account B anyway.

Currently I am gathering documents for ITA. I have some questions
1. Is it necessary to upload all passports. My spouse has 3 passports (2older and 1 current) and it is exceeding 4MB size limit if I upload all and too much compression will destroy its resolution.
2. I am the principal applicant and my IELTS expiring on 29th May. I had score of 7.5 before.I am retaking my IELTS this month but if I did not manage to get same score will it effect my ITA as my overall CRS will not go that low as I have PNP nomination as well.

At the time of submission of my e-APR (Jan 18) I had more than enough funds available in my account. But due to the sudden/daily devaluation of PKR against CAD I am fluctuating at the minimum amount required for a family of 3. Can anyone guide me what can happen if my available funds become less than the required threshold necessary by 10-20 dollars. Would it affect the outcome of my PR application?

Thanks Vishalg,my gratuity will be due in July and i plan to submit my application in May.The amount i mentioned is the final amount no taxes applicable.
Since the gap between May and July is not much,i want to include the gratuity as proof of fund.Provide a letter from my employer stating the gratuity.
Do you guys think this is okay?please advice

Yes, I believe it would affect your PR application. It's risky to toe the line right on the minimum required amount. Try to ensure you have more than enough so that if the exchange rates do continue to fluctuate you won't fall below the required amount.

Yes it can affect you. Try to increase your POF a little, you never know what will help.

Hi i have a joint account with my husband which was opened 2 months ago. Mostly the account has cash deposits. And i have to show that the money is gifted by my biological father. But there is 1 transaction in which my father-in-law had given a cheque of INR 70000. Is there any possibility that this amount would require clarification by the immigration officers afterwards?? Or can we make an affidavit by father-in-law now itself ?? One affidavit is already being created by my father for gift deed

It is an issue if you do not prove the source of those lump sum amounts.

My letter from bank has my name, account no, date on which the account was opened (May, 2015) , account type and the average 6 month balance. The letter also states that my account is in good standing and is signed by a bank official (has her title too), has bank seal and is on the bank's letterhead.

Question: Apart from this letter is it also recommended to upload monthly bank statements for the last 6 months?
