Hi all,

I was working in company A from 2011-2014 and Company B from 2016 to present. I was getting a salary lower than the taxable income in the first company and I didnt file any IT returns. But I do have payslips, reference letter, bank statement etc. Will I need the Income tax returns during that period?

Form 16 is enough.

Thank you for the reply. I forgot to mention that it was a startup company and they were not giving any form 16

Then, if on offer letter the salary says, less than 2.5 Lacs, you are good to go.
