Spouse Open Work permit

Can any one please help me .
My husband applied sowp on 18th December . Application received on 20th . No other documents needed.last update was background checking .. no medical request yet /! So much in tension ! Is it ok with my file ! ?

Hi Gurwinder! You had to submit additional documents right? After how long did they start the review of additional documents? How much time did they give you to submit additional documents?

They ask for docs on 5 March and started reviewing on 20 March and medical request 23 March

my son is in typical case - he got his Canadian pr and is in process of sponsoring pr for his wife soon likely this weekend - outland application - all docus are ready ..... but this takes time about 12 months - so it would be best if she can get OWP and move to Canada and join him - hence this inquiry - he works a job under Specialised Technical Skills category. (IT Field) - he had submitted docus in this regards when applying for his pr - he got pr Canada and is still in same job with same employer ..... can his wife apply for work permit based on this from India .... any inputs appreciated ....... thanks

Getting a trv for his wife so they can apply inland will depend on her ability to show strong ties to her home country. She will need to show things like a good longterm job, property ownership, savings, other family members being dependent on her, etc.

Still no Passport request
