Hello guys,

Please I need your help.

As per my previous post. Where it asks if I have a valid full time job, can I add my part time job offer? It’s a contract renewed yearly. I have worked for one year now.

I also work full time for some months ( about 3 months in total - 37 hours per week) Do I need to calculate the average of my hours. If so how do I do that.

As of now you do not have a year of work experience and don't qualify under CEC. You cannot claim a year of work experience until you have 52 weeks of full time experience. Full time means working at least 30 hours per week. Here's how you calculate that 52 weeks.

For every week you worked 30 hours or more - count it as 1 week.
For every week you worked less than 30 hours - add the hours together and divide by 30.
Add the two numbers above together to get your total number of weeks.

Please I have another question. Let’s say I work up to 52 weeks on this same job. It would take me about 1 year and 3mths (about 64 weeks in total) to complete 52 weeks of FTE based on my calculations. How do I input my work experience on my EE? Do I create separate entries for the part time and full time.

Example:

Part time - worked 24 hours for 1 year and

Full time - worked 3 months

Or do I just include the average hours and say worked 30 hours for 1 year and 3 months. I am kinda confused.

Separate entries. Once you receive your ITA you can upload a single reference letter to the two placeholders that will be generated.

Hello people!
I worked full time for 4 months last year in particular NOC and then I went back to school for 8 months. And then again I took up full time job in the same NOC now it has been 8 months.

Can I combine those 2 work experiences and consider it 1 year full time under CEC?
