York Region Citizenship Applicants

From what I’ve seen, oaths in Toronto are special occasions, such as July 1st, Canada’s 150th, etc. I’d bet those are made up of applicants being processed in Scarborough and Mississauga.

I’d be surprised to find any routine York region application to be processed someplace other than Scarborough.

Here's hoping we all get scheduled for a special ceremony on July 1st lol

There are lots. sns204, jsm0085, AnilGurung, Chai_to_Double-double just to name a few. All 4 being processed at CPC-Scarborough.

Thanks! Yeah, sounds like your background checks are ongoing. Test invite should follow shortly after. Good luck!

IRCC tries to schedule families together for test and oath. If your wife got an FP request and you didn't, chances are they're just waiting for your wife's background check to clear, and then they would send out invites for your entire family.

I have heard of people from Newmarket sent to Mississauga though while some are sent to Scarborough, there seem to be no clear divide and that's why it is important to have all York Region applicants compare.

That will be great, at my interview, the lady said Oath may be in October. I think she just wanted to prepare me for the long wait for Oath since I applied in October and they promise 12 months.
