After hitting the 6 months mark, I raised a CSE and recieved the following response 4 days after. Not sure what to make out of it. Anyone with similar experience ?

Hi...

Can you please paste here the email you sent to them? Thanks in advance

This is not true, i am a uk citizen living in the uk and my file has not been opened

And That's exactly what I said that I don't think that's a case as I live in the UK myself. And if there was any possibility of the earlier statement to be true then I would've received my PPR by last year November. Instead I'm still waiting over 10 months for it.

Daaang!! I have never received such a kind response from LVO ever. And seeing the dude's name in the signature gave me hell of a shock. I hope my next response that I am waiting for is as kind or even kinder. Loool

are you UK citizen though? They may be giving you hard time if you are non-UK citizen living in UK

I think where the applicant originally from plays a big part vs where he is residing, and it's quiet clear when observing Immitracker... I applied in UAE and there is a VO in Abu Dhabi but they decided to send my file to London so the MI5, MI6 and other security agencies play ball with my file.

Yeah you're spot on mate. They just want to give candidates the grief because of their nationalities. I hope our patience pays off real soon as this almost 11 months wait now really started to get on my nerves.

Hopefully you'll get it soon mate

I too used to think that being in the same city as the VO (London in this case) would be an advantage and see your application processed faster; but just look how very wrong this was! We seem to be waiting longer than everyone else instead!!!

I thought my background checks and processing would be easier given I am in London UK, but clearly not! No special treatment for us lol
