How Much time it takes to receive an update from CIC after the application is submitted

Hi All,
I was hoping if someone can help me out with an advice as to how much time usually CIC takes to come back to you once you have submitted your final application with all the supporting documents along with the fee. I actually submitted my application (with all the supporting docs and fee) on February 28th, 2018 and haven't heard anything back from them since then (till today April 10th, 2018) so I'm a bit concerned if there is something I can do to know whats going on or if this is a usual/normal time they take to get back to you. I applied for express entry invitation.
Please advice.

The usual processing time is about 6 months. You can check your status in the account. It does not show all the updates but gives you an idea.
