I received a request for new photographs for PR card on March 14th, 2018. I sent the pics and was received by Nova Scotia office on April 3rd, 2018. Is there a way I can find out when can I expect my PR card?

Wait for 2-3 weeks and then call them to know the status of your PR Card. If you were able to link your application to the MyCIC account, then you can check the status there too.
